Victorian Death Experiences

Victorian Death Experiences returns this fall with new thrills, chills, and spooky delights. This year, guests will venture upstairs into the most personal quarters of the historic home to witness what experiencing death and mourning would have been like in the late 1800s.

Step into a death experience of the past with this captivating tour through the shadowed halls of the Victorian historic house at the Center for Colorado Women’s History. Guests will experience our historic home decorated for mourning while getting a deeper, darker look into peculiar death rituals and realities of a foregone era. Victorian Death Experiences will feature grisly artifacts, hair-raising rooms, and stories of death’s presence in Denver. Don mourning attire and come prepared to attend a Victorian Wake.

Please note that Victorian Death Experiences features sensitive content and is not recommended for young children.

Victorian Death Experiences is available on select Thursday and Friday evenings, and Saturday afternoons in October. Reserve your tickets to this one-of-a-kind tour here.
