Kimberle Jackson-Butler

Dr. Kimberle Jackson-Butler is a Denver native and community-centered leader whose work reflects a deep commitment to generational opportunity and institutional responsibility. With more than twenty years of experience in education and nonprofit leadership, she focuses on expanding access, strengthening mentorship networks, and building sustainable pathways into professional fields.
She serves as Executive Director of LAW SCHOOL…Yes We Can, a statewide initiative that partners with law firms, judges, and universities to support high-achieving students from historically underrepresented communities on their path to the legal profession. Through structured mentorship, professional development, and long-term support, the organization works to ensure that talent and aspiration are met with access and opportunity.
Dr. Jackson-Butler holds a doctorate in Neuroscience Education from Johns Hopkins University School of Education, and her leadership approach is guided by research on belonging, resilience, and human potential. She is also the founder of RE+Cognition, LLC, where she advises organizations on leadership development and retention strategies based on human-centered design.
Born and raised in Denver, she lives in North Cherry Creek, where her family has resided for over a century, an enduring legacy that continues to influence her dedication to community and future generations.
