Valley View-Hillcrest Cemetery

The Valley View-Hillcrest Cemetery sits almost precisely one mile southeast of the center of the town of Rocky Ford, at the southeast side of the intersection of County Road EE and County Road 20.

The Valley View-Hillcrest Cemetery is southeast of the center of Rocky Ford. It contains between 14,000 and 15,000 graves.

The Cemetery is significant in the areas of Exploration-Settlement, Ethnic History-Japanese and Ethnic History-Hispanic. It is also significant in the area of Landscape Architecture at the local level for its unique juxtaposition of the Valley View's grid with the Hillcrest's intersecting ovals.
