Aultman Studio: Portraits of Trinidad

Oliver E. Aultman opened his photography studio in Trinidad, Colorado in 1890. He was a self-taught photographer who quickly found success after setting up his business on Main Street. The Aultman Photography Studio saw thousands of Southern Colorado residents come through the doors to have portraits taken.

History Colorado’s total collection of Aultman’s work contains over 50,000 negatives of Aultman’s work.
